Weekly & Biweekly Maintenance
A lawn that looks good in March and still looks good in October does not happen by accident. It comes from a consistent schedule, the right mowing height for the season, and attention to the edges and paved surfaces that frame the whole property. That is what our weekly and biweekly maintenance service is built to deliver.
Improve & Maintain Curb Appeal
Camden & Co Lawn Care has been maintaining lawns for residential and commercial properties across Northeast Atlanta, Decatur, and DeKalb County since 2009. For most of our customers, recurring maintenance is the foundation of the relationship — the regular visit that keeps the lawn even, the edges clean, and the walkways clear so the property always looks tended rather than overgrown.
Some properties grow fast and need weekly visits to maintain curb appeal. Others can stay sharp on an every-other-week schedule that keeps things tidy without overcutting. We help you choose based on your grass type, sun exposure, irrigation, and how much foot traffic the yard gets — not a one-size-fits-all package.
What to Expect
Mowing at a height appropriate for your grass type and the time of season
String trimming along fences, foundations, trees, and obstacles the mower cannot reach
Edging of sidewalks, driveways, and walkways for a crisp, finished line
Blow-off of grass clippings and debris from all paved surfaces
Visual check of the property for obvious issues — fallen branches, irrigation challenges, or animal damage
Gate closure and ensuring that the property is secured before we leave
Who This Service Is Appropriate For
Homeowners who want a reliably maintained property without spending weekends behind a mower
Busy professionals and families who prefer a predictable well-maintained yard
Rental property owners and landlords who need consistent curb appeal between tenants
Properties with mature trees and mixed sun and shade where growth rates vary across the lawn
What Requires a Separate Evaluation
Overgrown or neglected yards that have not been mowed in several weeks need a recovery cut before a recurring schedule makes sense
Drainage corrections, sod replacement, and major bed renovation are scoped as separate projects
Chemical weed treatment, fungicide, and pest control (including mosquito treatment)
Pressure washing, application of fertilizer, lawn aeration and dethatching.
Property Considerations
Properties in our area often sit under a mature tree canopy that thins the grass in shade and sends growth surging in the sunnier pockets. We adjust mowing height and frequency to keep both zones looking intentional rather than letting the shaded areas scalp and the sunny patches bolt. It is common for properties to have mixed sun and shade areas, in addition to a combination of grass types including: Bermuda, fescue, zoysia, and St. Augustine grass.
Neighborhoods in our service area frequently grow include slopes, terraced yards, and fence lines that a mower alone cannot handle cleanly. String trimming and careful edging are what make the difference between a mowed lawn and a finished-looking property.
Georgia red clay and compacted builder soil are common here. We pay attention to thinning or stressed turf because it often points to compaction, drainage, or shade issues that maintenance alone will not solve — and we will tell you when a different service makes more sense than another mowing.
Seasonal Considerations
Spring brings rapid growth as temperatures rise and rain increases.
Summer heat slows growth but stresses the grass. We raise the mowing height slightly to shade the soil and protect the roots.
Fall means leaf season — the biggest maintenance challenge in our area. Our teams are hard at work, and adjust routes to stay ahead of accumulation.
Winter dormancy reduces growth dramatically. Mild weather allows a chance to refresh and prepare your property for the spring.
Camden’s Service Process: Bed & Weeding Maintenance
We confirm your service day and frequency based on your property and preferences.
On each visit, our crew follows the same sequence: mow, trim, edge, and blow off — so the property looks complete every time.
We close gates and check that the property is secured before leaving.
If we notice anything unusual — turf stress, a drainage problem, signs of animal activity — we let you know so you can decide whether to address it.
Factors that Affect the Estimate
We are committed to providing affordable, budget-friendly packages that address the needs and goals for your property. We providing a proposal, several factors are reviewed.
Lot size and total mowable area
Number of obstacles — trees, beds, fences, play equipment
Frequency — weekly versus biweekly
Terrain — flat, sloped, or terraced

Weekly & Biweekly Lawn Service FAQs
-
Each property grows at a different pace. Likewise, each homeowner has a different budget and goal for how they want their property to look. For some homeowners, they can stretch service to bi-weekly and have a property that stays fresh looking within that window. Other homeowners have lawns that grow faster, or have specific goals for lawn appearance that require weekly service to achieve. Ultimately, each person has different preferences for what they want to achieve, and sun, shade, supplemental irrigation and frequency of fertilizer application are all additional factors.
-
We try to maintain consistency in routing to ensure you see familiar faces and the crew gets to know your property. Crews can operate in light drizzle, but heavy rain or saturated soil leads to poor cuts and clumping. We aim for high quality standards, and occasionally will need to adjust scheduling or crew assignments accordingly.
-
Yes. Most of our commercial clients are on a weekly schedule. We do have some clients that preference bi-weekly service due to growth speed or budget. We do encourage these clients to incorporate flower beds, shrubs and other landscape accents that are lower maintenance to keep the property’s curb appeal high between service visits.
-
Yes, and the use of electric lawn care equipment has been increasingly requested by residential and commercial clients over the last few years. This preference is common for those that have a specific energy preference, or prefer electric because of sensory needs. By default our crews use gas powered equipment because it is the most efficient way to service and maintain a property. If electric is an option you’re considering, please contact us to discuss this option further.
